Troubleshooting
It is common to encounter problems like high tube skin temperatures, high excess air operation, positive pressure, or excess corrosion. We can help.
The heaters are often identified as high temperature critical equipment, needing continuous attention. Most of the time, the heaters are not operating at their original design conditions.
It is common to encounter problems like high tube skin temperatures, high excess air operation, vibration, excess corrosion or positive pressure in fired heaters. Let FIS’ experts identify the root cause using our hands on practical experience and give economical recommendations to solve the real problem.
Field survey is the first step towards troubleshooting and revamping of fired heaters. A highly qualify FIS Engineer will conduct the heater survey using portable instruments and analyzers. Included in the survey are checking of the draft, temperature, flue gas composition, air and flue gas velocities, as well as a visual inspection. Our findings are summarized along with our recommendations to you.
While your furnaces are shut down, we can also carry out safety inspections.
